We can apply a simple table to understand the naming conventions for TI models to help us better select TI products.
TI products with these prefixes are included in the following table:
Naming Conventions Comparison Table:
The first column is the series, the second column is the product number, the third column is the optional suffix (some components in this line are available, some are not), the fourth column is the temperature: CIM, i.e. C= 0 to 70°C (commercial) I, E=-40 to 85°C (industrial), the third row is packaged, different suffixes are different package types, screenshot comparison is not lost, and the fourth row R stands for disk/tape. Compare the above examples and learn naming easily.
Operational Amplifiers and Comparators:
• LMV393AIDR:

LM is the series, 393 is the model number, A is the optional suffix, I is the temperature industrial grade 40-85, D is the SOP package, and R is the outer package, which means reel or tape and reel.
• LP2951DR:
Let’s look at the next Product Number, LP, which is series 2951. The naming of this Product Number is directly omitted, with the optional suffix and temperature. It may be because this model only has one temperature. D is the SOP package and R is plate-mounted. mean.
• SN75LP185ADWR:
Let me show you the entire low-power driver. SN is a series letter, 75LP185 is Product Number . A is an optional suffix. The operating temperature of this model is 70°. This is because there may be only one operating temperature and it is not optional, so it is not included in the Product Number. DW means SOP packaging, R also means outer packaging and tray packaging.
Data transmitter and drive:
• AM26LS31CDR:
Let’s look at another Product Number. AM is the series letter, 26LS31 is the Product Number , C is the temperature 0-70 degrees, D is the SOP package, R is the outer packaging plate.
